How to upload photos on Instagram from desktop computer
If you ever try to manage your Instagram account from desktop computer,it is inevitable that you will encounter a certain problem of not being able to find the upload button on your profile page.
This happens because in fact there isn’t any.
Why? Who knows? Maybe Instagram developers don’t want their users to stop using their app or for a certain security reasons.
Whatever is the case here, it can be frustrating sometimes, especially if you are doing some photo or video editing on your computer and want to upload it directly to Instagram.
How to upload photos without third party software
This is actually the most “legal” way to upload photos on Instagram in order to be sure you are not breaking their rules.
Now these steps are a little different depending on what web browser you are using.
\
If you are using Safari browser then do the following:
Go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced.
Check the box Show Develop menu in menu bar.
Then go to Develop > User Agent > Safari-iOS10-iPhone.
Now search for Instagram, login and it will open you a mobile version of the site.
For Chrome browser you would have to go to your Instagram profile and login.
Then just type the following keyboard shortcuts CTRL + Shift + i and then CTRL + Shift + M.
After that just hit F5 to refresh the page and it will open you a mobile version of the website, then you can click on that camera button to upload and it will ask you what file you want to upload.
For Firefox browser it is very similar as for Chrome browser just press CTRL + Shift + I and thenjust click on a mobile icon in the downright corner to open the mobile version of the website.
If you are using some third party software
There are a lot of software’s out there that let you connect your Instagram account and upload or even schedule a posts on your account like Gramblr uploader or Blitzsagram.
KEEP IN MIND THOUGH that you should check for other people's experiences first before using thosebecause there were cases where using a certain software on Instagram was considered as a breach of their terms of use and community guidelines, which lead to some users’accounts being suspended.
The safest way is to use applications that do not request you to authorize them on your Instagram profile.
The actual best solution is to install some android emulator on your computer like Bluestacks andthen through it install regular Instagram app and just use it from emulator.
